Again the action was kind of slow, and the obvious ending – the princews of the quest to close the well – isn’t the end. Instead I wanted to relish my last few minutes before that reflecting on all the good times I had with Miach and Morgan. Jan 06, Pages. Otherwise this series has been a wonderful, kurlsnd read that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. I’m finally getting back to review this last book in the original Nine Kingdoms trilogy. Just in general Princese was so disappointed in the story, the lack of interesting character development or in Morgan’s case, the complete reversal of interesting character development and the lack of a clearly defined magical universe, where the author just bends the laws of this magic to easily accomplish princess she needs it to so she can neatly wrap up her plot.
You can kind of tell that even the author doesn’t completely buy the premise because she has them get caught before they can get too far, even before the vow to stop it.
The story meanders quietly through the different problems encountered and conquered. The review must be at least 50 characters long.

Remember that super valuable, one of a kind sword that’s the answer to everyone’s prayers but Morgan broke at the end of the first novel. Paperbackpages. This character should be able to master her magic the same way she did sword fighting – which incidentally would have made the battle strategy spell thing make a whole lot more sense. I am always skeptical about reading a book by an author I’ve never read before, especially an author that is shelved in the “romance” section.
