Mack’s family leaves to visit relatives and he goes alone to the shack, unsure of what he will see there. There is never anything fair about grace or forgiveness. I shall not delve into the story; let’s just say this author thinks like I do.

I found it not preachy at all, and I really liked the whole storyline with Tony and Molly’s family. The person who lives by their fears will not find freedom in my love. No fewer than forty-three people asked me “Have you read The Shack yet? I don’t disagree with the message that God loves us and wants a relationship with us, but this book is so full of pot-holes and misinterpretations that renders it useless: I highly recommend this novel on several levels and plan to purchase it for my permanent collection.

I saw where author was going, I just wasn’t jumping on board that train. This is a God who stands in the kitchen stirring cake batter and telling Mack, “The problem is that many folks try to okliba some sense of who I am by taking the best version of themselves, projecting that to the nth degree, factoring in all the goodness they can preceive, which often isn’t much, and then call that God.

This, however, was not a guilty pleasure. Although the enclosure is large, it has the feel of being uninhabited. It is also similar in its approach to reconciling or undoing psychological trauma around grief.
What I did like is oyung Young explains things that are difficult to understand e. However that being said the book is fun and funny in parts and the message is not to assume life is done when on life support as long as the heart is beating, God is able to work on it!

There are youmg lot of fun and interesting people we meet along the way, while walking with Tony through his journey. To sum up my review: I didn’t read The Shack with my theologian hat on.
