I just didn’t understand what you meant about the mrx destroy the mrx because the mrx is a dual 15″ and the mrx is a single 15″.
The MRX is extraordinary in its coverage, allowing you to deliver super high mxr512 JBL sound to every seat in the house. I’ve never been in one that didn’t have a BBE sonic maximizer patched into their rack. The venues I play are a rock pub which has a dance floor measuring 15ft by 18ft and holds about 50 people with another in the rest of the pub round the corners and the other is a small hall which is about 40ft by 60ft and holds about people maximum so mr512 mrx tops powered by my qsc plx and my 4 srx subs powered by my crown xls should be quite loud I hope.

I’m buying 4 new top speakers next week just after christmas to work with my 4 jbl srx subs, I play drum and bass and techno with vocals in it, i’ve decided I dont want the mrx because thery’re too big, so which would be louder, that’s all I want to know because i’ve heard both and like them both but the shop couldnt give me a proper loud demo because of sound restrictions.
I find the a little smoother and better sounding in overall response, the is a little sharper and louder in vocal range.
