You can only view one page at a time– And even then, it’s not an entire page And there aren’t even page numbers. If you buy or rent this for a class thinking you’ll be able to find information quicker– Good luck.
The search bar is very limited on words or phrases, even if it’s word-for-word how you searched it. Complete waste of money. The information is the same no matter what version you get of the book, so me rating it poorly isn’t me rating the quality of the information poor– But rather just the E-Textbook version being poor and awful and pointless.
This ebook is non functioning and unusable.
I’m going to seek a refund. I finally had to rent this textbook because I couldn’t keep using the ebook. Page numbers aren’t displayed, the highlight function doesn’t work properly, pages stop loading.
I’ll try to scroll to the next page or go back, and it will just load the same page. Or I’ll finish a section and it will just load white pages.
I have to constantly go psychooogy to the table of contents, click on the section I was trying to read, and hope it loads. Then when it doesn’t, I have to go to the next section and scroll back, hoping to find the information that I was trying to read. I purchased the kindle version for my macbook and it is impossible to read.
There are multiple pages that just show up blank on my computer introducig it takes a long time to skip through all of the blank page to get to the actual content. There are no clear page numbers so I cannot cite this book for my class.
I will most likely end up purchasing the actual book so buying the kindle version was a waste of money. One person found this helpful.
Loose-Leaf Version for Introducing Psychology : Daniel L. Schacter :
Not written in a very clear way. This book could stand to have a revision in which terminology is explained in a more easier to understand way. Felt as if you were rolling from one definition into another, with little detailed explanation of what you are reading and why it is important in the bigger psychological picture.
The books content itself is wonderful but the Kindle introoducing on any device seems to like to skip whole sections of information and getting to those sections can be almost, if not totally impossible. The ebook version of this textbook is awful. There is no table of contents to psychologg from.
It doesn’t download completely. You’ll notice many blank incomplete pages and it will randomly skip pages as you try to navigate to the next page. Wish I read the reviews for the ebook prior to renting. See all 47 reviews.
