It had me laughing and falling in love with the characters.
I will certainly be reading more books by this author as she is amazing: Madeline was so great! But forcing her to take a bath and forcing her head underwater — and calling her filthy, even if only in the literal sense? From the first few sentences, the story enraptured me. I would have liked more intrigue but all in all an easy, light read.

She somewhat spoiled it. Honor’s Garwkod 3 20 Apr 08, The heroes are divine and the bad guys are inhuman gutless wimps. Happy ending of course, dan menurut aku sih, ini one of the best historical I have ever read [image error] Recommended buat semua Having read some of her other books I was surprised to get that feeling.

However, she never does, not even once. Men shouldn’t get props for treating people like humans, but I have to give it to the character Garwood created. Duncan’s sweet side was solidified for me when he watched over Madelyne while she was ravaged with fever, and I loved how he snuck into bed with her every night without her knowing. She has a fierce temper, and is not affraid to stand up to Duncan, when even his soldiers would cower in fear of him.
Posted by Julie at Outlandish Dreaming at See, it pays to always tell the truth, especially if you tell it garwod a way that gets people a little confused. I think she wished to have her own Odysseus. It has what one look in a historical fiction; the historical setting, intrigue, romance, suspense and a well laid plot. From the opening line, Julie Garwood had jjulie hooked.

I found that the love scenes became progressively more sensuous with each one I really enjoyed the late night “swim” in the lakebut still by more modern standards, they were fairly short and only moderately descriptive. Anyway, from the moment Madelyne “saved” him and warmed his feet when he couldn’t stand, he knew she would belong to him. Welcome to my book blog. She has a husband in one century, and a lover in another Watching them come into their own is such an enjoyable experience. Carrie McClelland came to Scotland to research her next book. Blacky I could kiss you for recommending this to me. I also liked the bit of royal intrigue which lent a mild air of suspense to the ending.

I was so wrong to judge them! She’d warmed his feet. Madelyne is my favorite heroine. All right, let me give you a few more highlights. I have to say, I have yet to read a Julie Garwood novel that I don’t love, but there garowod something special about Honor’s Splendour that makes it stand juile in my mind and has made it one of my favorite reads.
