Learn how to speedsolve the Rubik’s Cube lihgtning fast using the popular CFOP method (Fridrich Method). Simple explanations with images and animations. If you have already read our beginner’s solution guide, you will already know how to do this step. But here are a few tips on how to get faster at. To solve Rubik’s cube, a person has to use a solving method. Fridrich method is one of the easiest and widely used method around the globe!! There are several .

How to Speedsolve the Rubik’s Cube – CFOP Method Explained
They will be presented with an example. If you’re still confused, take the picture to my left.
Before letting you play with your Rubik’s cube, I would still like to teach you a couple of tips. With a bit methid practice on all the cases, you should get closer to 10 seconds first two layers. Cross – You solve a cross on bottom, like the layer by layer method. In particular, every speedcuber ranked metuod the top 10 by 3×3 average at any point since has used a variant of CFOP. They are the only ones and the best way to solve them is not really instinctive. Or the two corners are next to each other and the yellows are not on the same side.
It is also known as the Fridrich Method after its popularizer, Methkd Fridrich. There is a third tricky case.
So flip the whole cube and start practicing with the cross on the bottom. You want to learn the Fridrich but do you own a decent cube?
This greatly reduces the number of cases; 2-look PLL has 6 cases. Fill in the four slots between the cross pieces, one slot at a time. This is explained methox in the link below. Vision and thinking should be much faster too. You may be tempted to solve this case with your right hand.
Thankfully, you do not need to learn everything at once and each of these two steps can be separated in two sub-steps. The completion of this step leaves one with just the last layer, typically placed on top. I am going to give you a few techniques to solve these cases. If we consider the first two layers as solved intuitively, there is in total 78 algorithms to learn to solve the last layer: Fridrich’s website hutorial a vast wealth of information for those entering the sport, including mehod full description of CFOP with complete lists of algorithms.
During pre-inspection, take more than 15 seconds.
In a last step, we will see how to orient both at the same time. It is the key to solve frdrich cube under 20 seconds or even 10 seconds if you really master the method. Take your time and try to anticipate.
Then then ones with two corners to orient and finished with the last two. Do not feel you have to learn this straight away. Tutoriall, note that this is a few seconds slower.
Good control of the cube. This will be very useful if you want to communicate with other speedcubers about a specific algorithm. Some other times, we build the pair and insert it at the same time. Here is an extract from Wiki: So there is no need of turning the faces as fast as possible. With a bit of practice, you left and right hands can solve cases equally as fast.
You will need to perform the following algorithm: A new speedcuber just appears! We then use the formula used in the beginners method, which is called the X PLL. Having said that, you can still with a bit of practice, see the best cross solution in 15 seconds and execute it in well under 3 seconds. They were used the one after the other in the step 7 of the beginners method. You already know the two formulas. This is highly recommended and you should learn this before you learn PLL.

Finally, there are two cases that are awful and I would recommend learning them by heart. It definitely turns much better than my other speed cubes.
Why the CFOP in the title? Now you have everything to find the best F2L algorithms using Fridrich method.
Frirdich everything changes when rotating the cube, all your inspection will be hard to transpose. The rotation of the upper layer will then bring the pair to where it needs to be once solved. But we are going to use either the one or the fridroch depending on the case.
But doing it with your left hand will be quicker! They also can be performed very quickly. It doesn’t corner twist as often nor does it lock up. Here are the magic algorithms:.
