But then again, I’m an anatomy nerd. He offers a detailed discussion of the anatomical underpinnings of asana, relaxation and yyoga. The newer version has colour-coded pictures, which are more helpful than black and white.
The headstand and shoulderstand, including an introduction to cardiovascular function, are presented in chapters 8 and 9.
