Yes, but by the time you use close to sheets of paper and ink, plus a binder, it is about as cheap to just order it. I currently only use my Buddipole when close to saltwater and an inverted vee otherwise. Generally, I set up my Buddipole near saltwater and only use it as a vertical and I work the world with excellent results. I have previously used Par EndFedz on 40m and 20m with good results.
I just like books better that have full color photographs and charts. By far the best tool I have in my collection is the iP60z analyzer. I am sorry to read of your frustrations with the Buddipole.

Thanks for the post and the advice. For me, the benefit of the TRSB was its isolation transformer which feld RF getting down the coax and stinging me.

Can you print a free copy of the pdf file available at buddipole. That would certainly do better than a couple of beads. I would have thought that whether or not you budripole an ATU in addition would depend on the antennas you build and what their resulting impedance is.

Jose, I wonder if you managed to figure out your impedance matching issues? Buddipole set up on Como Jetty, VK6. Or even something in the close proximity to the antenna? I bought the extra long whips to cield able to work 40 meters better and better is what it does at that lower freq.

I have buddipolw the opposite experience as the author of this article. On 20 meters I get an swr of less than 1: Would you recommend the longer whip with the Buddistick buddopole In 8 years I have tried a dozen times to get a low swr, but it just does not happen.
Any thoughts, opinions, recommendations??? I have tried in a horizontal orientation dipole and twice as a vertical. A systematic method to use to tune this confounded contraption. So I just bought a new one this week and with the standard whips and the short 9 foot pole on the tripod i got it running on 20 meters in less than 10 minutes just by following the table for the coil clips and whip lengths that came with it.
