The room was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. I understand now what Canadians mean by interpretive forests.

This place is a real paradise in the Paradise Valley. We are located in the neighbourhood of Brackendale. The bed was comfortable. Our suite is located in beautiful Brackendale BC, nestled thirty minutes from Whistler and one hour from Vancouver International airport. We had a great stay at Marc and Betty’s – kake place for 2 couples.
Francine is a very generous and accommodating house. This place is perfect for a weekend or for a longer stay!

Craig and Courtney were very helpful in providing information about the area. We met Alan who was extremely nice and oddly enough we had somehow crossed paths in Tofino the previous day. We were there to celebrate our 20th anniversary and it was everything we anticipated and then some!

After a quick couple of kilometers we crossed an old road and headed uphill on the Cheakamus Loop Trail. Our home is about 5 min’s down a gravel road. Enjoy our private paradise in the mountains. The home also backs onto the railroad tracks.

Full power, water, septic, and your own yard. After some research we found that the trails at Brohm Lake Interpretive Forest fit the bill perfectly with views of the Cheakamus River valley and the Tantalus Mountain Range, a few loop trails to choose from and lots of great scenery including a lake, a marsh, numerous rocky bluffs and both deciduous and coniferous forest. One of the best spots for a brhom getaway. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to enjoy nature and be close to multiple hikes.
Looking out from the old Fire Lookout at the Tantalus Viewpoint.
