I really liked reading Braced 2 Bite. Colby is the stereotypical cheerleader, normally completely unappealing to me, but somehow she managed to capture my interest and kept me rooting for her in her crusade to save herself and the future of half-blood vampires.
The half blood vampires have different abilities and the tribunal says anybody who is a half blood vampire must be destroyed. I quite liked the story line it was different to other storylines I usually come across. Charles or Chuck was kind of creepy. I would recommend this book because it is a fun, “brain-candy” book.
She acted just as I thought she would and I enjoyed every minute of it. She has to then plad hy innocence to a vampire court to get a lisence. This was a good start to the series. It also suffered from the fact that she was describing the place where she lives, which is almost but not quite the place where I live. How could you not fall in love with him? But damn the girl is too smart, too witty for her own good. And not a single one of the cheerleaders I’ve ever known bracfd acted like that.
Now, what I did n Braced to bite was an easy and fast read. Half bloods are shunned by the vampire community. It just seemed so fake and unreal.

I found myself laughing out loud so many times and rooting for Thomas and Colby. She was very funny and VERY bold. Its was fun and witty read and will satisfy your vamp side. The plot was rushed. Half-bloods, humans turned into vampires, are not allowed due to the fact that they would pollute the undead population of Pure-Blood vampires.
Half-Blood Vampires 3 books. She went from a somewhat shallow typical cheerleader to becoming the Protector of other half-bloods and she certainly grew into that role.

Refresh and try again. When she wakes up and returns home she has been missing for 48 hours. Colby Blanchard had it all… Head cheerleader. Maybe I’m being a bit harsh I blame the second book so I’ll say that it did make me laugh and I enjoyed reading it. She has to make a case on why she has t Colby Blanched is the typical 16 year old, interested in boys, clothing and staying head cheerleader.
Oddly enough, although frightened, it’s not until her Great-Aunt Chloe points out the puncture wounds on her neck that Colby realizes something weirder than a nighttime attack has happened to her. It was a pretty good book.
Also, I like how Colby was feeling attracted hraced the vamp counsel dude. However she can walk in the sunlight and can function during all hours of the day or night, but she still has to sleep.
