The mSRX is an even better transitional step for learning collective pitch because the cyclic response is very close to that of a CP heli. After a bit of testing, I found the settings that worked for me and after reading the whole book.
On the Servo blaee screen I noticed the pitch servo moving with the left up stick but that should be not problem, right. Your tips worked and my mSR is hovering better then it ever has. Send a private message to Ddaddy. I still am digesting all the information and can’t wait to apply it, especially the fly bar modification. Both msg birds will teach you as much about yourself as they will about RC helicopters — perhaps more. I have also played with the throttle curve and tuned this to where the MSR will keep good straight and level flight around mid stick.
Take it easy until you are familiar with the control response—this little heli is quick to respond, but having the trims set up makes it very easy to progress without hlade into anything in the living room.
Thanks for putting together such a helpful resource!

Had to figure out the source of the mar from googling around the web. I’m now going to dive into flybar-less flight because your explanation regarding the mSR X was so clear.
Yeah, you can use the 1 servo setup.
You can use the programmable mixes to set up a throttle hold if you want to, but if you’re going to do that, you might as well do the Heli-setup thing. At this point your heli is ready for high-performance action. This was a great book, just what I needed. The first was a cheap Chinese coax that I couldn’t get to do anything, I then purchased a Blade cx Scout which I still enjoy. Sep 08, I thought about adding more sub-trim but that would defeat the purpose and it probably doesn’t help that my negative expo on the rudder is set tocuz i noticed mwr big difference in how much more the tail motor works but its pretty well dialed in to my likings.

Many people are considering the BNF version, and I have heard some people asking how difficult it is to bind and set up in their DSM2 transmitter. Your dual rate switch will be the GEAR switch.
Settingx Jim it is easy to setup the DX-7 for an mSR in heli mode just start with a new model memoryit doesn’t hurt to reset it to defaultbut be msrr to start with a totally blank memory and just enter the name you want to usei used “MY mSR”with a new model memory in heli mode it will be 1 servo normal defaultwhich is what you want for the mSR you can use Dual Rates if you wantand throttle hold cx7 easy to setupsome people mention tweeking throttle setfings to get it to hover at midstick cheers.
Larry Kappel – United States. Hi cpreinfalk one of the bad habits that flying an FP heli will get you into is chopping the throttle when a crash is imminentif all you ever fly is an FP heli this is a fine responseand you do want to stop the motors as this saves the motors and ESC’s from burning out in the crash due to stalling but if you get d7 flying CP helis this habit will come back to bite you with throttle hold enabledyou can cut the motor just before you biff and not get back into the habit of chopping the throttlehope this makes sensecheers.
With your tips, I’ve got blads mSR “locked-in” with stock parts and thus considerable cost and weight savings. I’m sure it will be referenced many times in the near future.
My most popular eBook! There are some simple steps to take when you get ready to fly it. Cant you enable dual rates, like the stock Tx, using channel 5 somehow I fly my helis with Futaba Faast gear but bought a DX-7 yesterday just for this little heli and any other BnF things I might want I dont have a clue how to setup anything on it yet.
Blade mSR factory settings? Wish I found it 4 months ago. One for every skill level How-To: As you mentioned in the book, your viewers had a big part in the many topics that sehtings addressed and I was happy to be one of them.
I sure would appreciate a quick run thru of how it is done Thanks, Jimmy. Does it have an effect on something else?
After reading both the official manuals I understood nothing.
