At twenty she has visited many places and seen more things happen to last her a lifetime. I fell for Jack from the beginning, when we first come to know about the scar on his face and the bad leg.
One star Lost for the push-pull. I would have rated it higher but there were several times in the last quarter of the book for them to communicate their love and they didn’t.

While it often takes a wounded person to understand a wounded person, I think I tend to prefer that one character be strong and understanding while also being less angsty. I absolutely loved Kate and I admire her. This was a sweet Beauty and the Beast type story.
This is what I’d call a sweet romance. For most of my childhood we didn’t have TV, so books have always been a big part of my life. A headstrong woman, she decides to do something. Her loneliness touched me, not as neediness but as deeply moved sympathy. My friends and I formed a band called Platform Souls a One of my favorite Anne Gracie books and I ahne it right up when I found it finally available digitally at Amazon earlier tonight.
